We will explore the 6 Classical Machines and build projects that help us explore the foundations of all modern marvels. We will also use LEGO Mindstorms Robotics to learn how to program and build the automated machines of the future. Projects will use a mix of standard LEGO and LEGO Technic parts. Camp will challenge students to develop teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills while they learn STEM concepts and work to solve challenges with creative solutions. Students should be at least 7 years of age for this camp as smaller LEGO Technic parts and robot programming can be frustrating for kindergarten and some 1st Grade students. Designed to build confidence, teamwork, and school spirit, the squad performs at school and local events while helping students develop coordination, leadership, and a positive attitude—no prior experience needed!
