CHS Southwest Wrestling Session August 24th-Ocotber 3rd

Wrestling gives young athletes the opportunity to develop strength, conditioning, agility, balance, flexibility, and great work ethic. We develop athletes of all levels of experience in a positive and competitive environment.

Dates: August 24th-Ocotber 3rd

Little Wrestlers Small Groups (ages 5-6): Monday and Thursdays 4:30pm-5:15pm (MAX of 12 participants)

Beginner Dates (1st-6th grades): Mondays and Thursdays 5:15-6:15pm 

Intermediate Dates (3rd-6th grades): Monday and Thursdays 5:15pm-6:30pm- Wednesday 6:15pm-7:45pm (guided live)

Advanced + Intensive Practice Dates (5th-12th grades): Monday and Thursdays 6:15-8:00pm- Tuesdays 6:15pm-7:45pm-Wednesday 6:15pm-7:45pm (guided live)

Advanced + Guided Live  (5th-12th grades): Monday and Thursdays 6:15-8:00pm-Wednesday 6:15pm-7:45pm (guided live)

Drop In: Any individual day M--S

Practice Location: Chandler High School North Campus: 185 W. Oakland St. The new wrestling room will be on the left as soon as you pull into the parking lot, just east of the football field.

Session Pricing: $100 Beg (M & Th 5:15-6:15)

$120 Int (M & Th 5:15-6:15, Wed 6:15-7:45)

$130 Adv (M & Th 6:15-8, Wed 6:15-7:45) 

$150 -Little Wrestlers Small Group (4-6 athletes) Ages 5-6 

$170- Advanced + Tuesday Night Intensive Practice

$50 for Friday Girls Small Group Practice (5th-12th grade) 

$15 drop in for MTThFS 

$10 drop in for Wed Guided Live

Curtis Owen-NCAA D-I All- American Fo ASU, NJCAA National Champion for North Idaho College, 3 years Head Coach of Sunkist Wrestling Academy, 20 years of varsity coaching at Chandler High School.

Assistant Coaches:

Michael Fujimori- wrestled for the Clackamas CC and then for ASU. Michael has 4 years of head high school coaching experience and is currently a varsity coach at Chandler High School

Manny Reyes- AZ state Runner-up for Chandler High School. Wrestled 4 years at Dickinson State University.

Over 10 years of coaching youth and high school wrestlers.

Stefana Jelacic- wrestled for Lourdes University where she was a 2x NAIA National Champ. She was a State Champion and Junior National Champion while at Chandler High.

Zach Espalin- NCWA National Champion for Tarleton State, Mexican National Team Member, 2x Fargo All-American, 4x AZ State Champion for Chandler HS 

Gabe Avena- AZ State Places with 10+ years of youth high school coaching 

Victor Combs: Payne JH Coach-20+ year of youth-high school coaching experience
