We accomplish this by offering age appropriate curriculum designed to develop social, emotional, physical and cognitive abilities. Our programs also follow the CUSD student calendar. Chandler Sports LeagueThe Community Education Department is excited about the opportunities to reach our community through traditional and non-traditional recreation sports. Chandler Sports League offers soccer, basketball, flag football, cheer and volleyball for K - 6th grade throughout the school year. Our purpose will be to provide high quality events, leagues, clinics, and tournaments to better serve our CUSD community. The Chandler Sports League focus on FUN and TEAMWORK with a fast and energetic atmosphere. As we gear up for another exciting year with our Chandler Unified School District’s Programs, we wanted to take a moment to outline our expectations to ensure a positive and successful experience for all participants. Our focus remains on creating a safe, encouraging, and respectful environment that fosters growth, teamwork, and personal development for our students. 1. Communication and Concerns: If you have any concerns or questions about the program, we encourage you to reach out directly to our Chandler Sports League coordinator, Jackie Truelove, at truelove.jacklyn@cusd80.com. Open communication is essential to addressing any issues promptly and effectively. 2. Social Media Etiquette: We kindly ask all participants, staff, and parents to refrain from posting negative comments or content related to the Cheer Program on social media. If you have feedback or concerns, please follow our established communication channels, and discuss them with Jackie, at truelove.jacklyn@cusd80.com. Let's ensure that our online presence reflects the positive values and goals of our program. 3. Positive Environment: We emphasize the importance of treating all students, staff, and parents with respect and kindness. Yelling at students or any form of physical contact that might be perceived as harmful or disrespectful is strictly prohibited. Let's work together to build each other up and inspire our students to shine. 4. I understand that CUSD Enrichment & Site staff/coaches reserves the right to withdraw my child(ren) due to continuing behaviors that present a danger to self or others or any other violations of school or department policies. 5. Club CUSD EnrichmentWelcome to Club CUSD Enrichment program offered by CUSD approved organizations/vendors. Our goal is to provide fun and quality educational classes year-round for students of all ages. Our vendors/organizations specialize in a variety of areas such as sports, science, technology, drama, music, and standardized testing preparedness for SAT & ACT. With this partnership, we are able to offer over 250 classes each semester. Most classes are available after school; however, we have programs that are also offered before school, evenings, Saturdays, during fall, winter, spring and summer breaks. Other vendors not listed below are: Activstars, Athletes in Training, Arizona Tennis Association, Girls on the Run, Under the Lights, and Reach Basketball. Classes must meet the minimum enrollment requirements. Plus: Athletes in Training Multisport Camps! All classes are non-refundable. Federally Funded PreKTitle I pre-kindergarten programs are funded through Federal and State funds, and are free to Chandler residents who live within the school boundaries of the schools listed. Title I programming provides developmentally appropriate academic curriculum to strengthen literacy, STEM, social-emotional, communication, and physical skills with an emphasis on preparing students for Kindergarten. Four-year-olds will receive instruction in English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Sciences, Art, and more! They will also experience a variety of opportunities meant to support social development, including peer and adult interaction. Kids ExpressAt Kids Express, we look forward to providing your child with opportunities for enrichment that extend beyond the school day. Our goal is to provide seamless integration of CUSD's excellent programming into the Kids Express program so that children have opportunities for both personal and academic growth.
