Riggs Cross Country ClubEnrichment ProgramsRiggs Cross Country Club Students will build stamina and endurance as we teach them how to run long distances. Students will learn in-depth running mechanics, drills, interval training, strides, and how to properly warm-up and cool down. They will learn how to set goals for themselves and learn a variety of strategies on ways to improve their overall personal performance. Practices twice a week (Tues and Fri) in the morning before school. There are no penalizations if you miss a practice. This is a good way to prepare for the running club season which begins at the beginning of November. NewRiggs Roadrunner Ready GolfEnrichment ProgramsRoadrunner Ready Golf Program Description: Roadrunners in grades 1st through 6th, come join Mrs. Sher and Mr. Estrella as we putt, chip and pitch our way around the Riggs fields. We will have mini golf for putting practice, top-golf challenges for chipping and pitching, and a bucket golf course for our final tournament. All skill levels welcome, no equipment necessary.
