• Meet 8 times during first semester
• Two times a month on Friday, 7:30 am – 8:10 am
• Class Dates: Sept. 4, 11 Oct. 9, 23 Nov. 6, 20 Dec. 4, 11

• No Class: During Fall Break

• For Grades 1-6

• Knox Gifted Academy (Meet at E-6, then walk to KGA Garden)

• Class limit 30

Cost per Participant:$100.00 (Includes all materials)

Program Description:

• Students will help plan, build, plant, water, weed, harvest and care for our KGA Garden.

• Students will learn about the nutritional qualities of vegetables and fruits.

• Students will learn about appropriate seasons and methods of planting different plants.

• Students will learn about soil, composting, water systems, pollinating insects, seeds and seed storage, and much more!

Special Instructions:

• Parents are responsible for arranging transportation for students to this club.

• Students should walk directly to E-pod class 6.
